Biography

Dan Zimmerman graduated from the University of Arizona with a Marketing Degree that emphasized advertising and promotion in 2000.  He has a combined total of 10 years of advertising and marketing experience both in-house marketing positions as a Marketing Director/Manager as well as over 3 years of advertising sales giving him a broad understanding working within a vast amount of industries.  As an Advertising Account Executive, he learned a deep understanding of advertising medium's capabilities and types of programs that are available in today's marketing environment, as well as the detailed insights of how to maximize your advertising budget.

For many years, Dan was a competitive diver, including being a student-athlete for the University of Arizona.  Hence the name "Splash" for his company.  Being a competitive athlete, Dan learned the value of hard work and preparation to overcome challenges in the face of fear.  Imagine yourself standing backwards on the 10 meter platform getting ready to throw yourself off and spin around 3 1/2 times knowing that with even the slightest miscalculation that pain would shortly follow.  Dan's years of being a competitive athlete have helped him prepare to take on the challenges in business with solid preparation and diligence to find resolutions to assist you with overcoming obstacles that you are facing with your marketing efforts.

With a passion to create an ethical position with the availability to be a much greater resource to his clients with respect to offerings and capabilities, he launched out on his own in July of 2009 to dive into Splash Marketing & Communications.
